What is included in a Golden Porch?
Your package includes the seasonal materials listed in your package plus any finishing touches you choose to add, along with sourcing, delivery, styling and installation at your entrance.
Where do you install?
Golden Porches serves Windsor-Essex County within our local delivery area. Your delivery address is confirmed at checkout.
When will my porch be installed?
You'll select your preferred installation week when booking. We'll contact you afterward to confirm your exact installation date within that week.
Do I need to be home for installation?
No, as long as we have clear access to the entrance and any information we need before arrival, you do not need to be home. Please let us know about gates, pets, parking restrictions or anything else that may affect access.
Do you need a photo of my porch?
It is optional, but we will ask you to send us a current, front-facing photo after booking so we can begin planning your display. Not sure which package to choose? You can also send us a porch photo before booking and we can help.
How should I prepare my entrance?
Please remove anything you do not want incorporated into the design and make sure we have safe, clear access. If you have urns, planters, lanterns or other pieces you would like incorporated into your Golden Porch, leave them in place and let us know when you send your porch photo.
Are every pumpkin and display exactly the same?
No. Pumpkins are natural, seasonal products, so colour, shape, size and variety will vary. Every Golden Porch is styled individually using the best, local, seasonal selection available to create a stunning golden fall porch.
Will weather affect my Golden Porch?
Golden Porches are outdoor displays made with natural materials. Pumpkins, mums, cornstalks and other elements may shift, weather or change overtime due to wind, rain, temperature chages or wildlife. Severe weather may occaisionally require us to adjust installation scheduling.
What is Golden Return?
Golden Return is our optional end-of-season cleanup service. We return during your selected pickup window to remove the seasonal Golden Porch materials included in the service. Pumpkins are then donated to a local farm to feed the animals or composted. We try whenever possible to make sure nothing goes to waste.
How do I care for my mums?
Mums are living plants and require regular watering throughout the season. Their longevity depends on weather, watering and growing conditions.
Can cornstalks be attached to every entrance?
Not always. Attachment options depend on the surface of your entrance. Brick and some other surfaces may limit secure attachment, and we will never attach decor in a way that could damage your home.
